This was last spring, We finally got the metal roof up, it was actually easier than we thought it would be, it still took longer than we thought it would, but that is ALWAYS the case!! We had tons of help, from friends, family, and some of our local neighbors.
we had the sheets cut to length, so installation went smoothly, we just screwed them onto the roof (after we pre-drilled the holes) 
Our Oldest and youngest sons helping to pre-drill the holes. (we did this on the ground to make it easier.) Also our Dog Jessie was there to help... or play fetch!

Metal roof is a good choice, Penny! Since roof is the home’s first line of defense against external factors, it would be excellent to opt for a durable component than just choosing a stylish one. It wouldn’t be bad if you have both as well. How’s it going, by the way?

You have a point there, Herb. Metal roofs can give your house a simple, yet stern look. Aside from that, it can keep your home from the damaging rays of the sun. Just don't forget to take a regular check to it as metal roofs can be vulnerable to rust.

One of the best ways to prevent the metal roofs from rusting is painting them. But when doing this, be sure that the paint you're using is intended for metals. Other paints like wood paint will surely not work with metal.
